Rx Kids Communities

In January 2024, Michigan embraced a brighter future for families in Flint with Rx Kids.

This program, the nation’s first-ever community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program, is already bringing joy and financial security to hundreds of families.

Inspired by Flint Rx Kids’ success and supported by global and national evidence, the program’s expansion will continue to help families thrive, improve health, and boost local economies in even more communities.

We wish we could extend this program for all of childhood like in so many other countries; however, based on how much money we have been able to raise (a HUGE thank you to all the amazing funders!), the program varies for either 6 months or 12 months after birth.
