Benton Harbor, Buchanan, Niles, and Benton Charter Township Residents Can Sign Up Today!
Infants born on or after January 1, 2026, and expectant mothers who live in Benton Harbor, Buchanan, Niles, and Benton Charter Township, are eligible to apply. Upon verification, moms receive $1,500 during pregnancy and babies receive $500 a month for six months after birth. Families can enroll anytime from 16+ weeks pregnancy until six months of age, as long as the baby was born after the January 1, 2026.
A small number of residents in the City of Niles are in Cass County, all residents in the City of Niles are eligible for Rx Kids.

Birth to Three Services offers options to support families that are expecting a child or have a child to age 3 or 4, depending on the program.
IC-BHCC provides primary medical, dental, and mental health care to adults and children, and specifically proves obstetric, prenatal, and gynecological care for women at the Benton Harbor Women’s Health Center.
