City of Galesburg Residents Can Sign Up Today!
Infants born on or after June 1, 2026, and expectant mothers who live in the City of Galesburg are eligible to apply. Upon verification, moms receive $1,500 during pregnancy and babies receive $500 a month for 12 months after birth. Families can enroll anytime from 16+ weeks pregnancy until six months of age, as long as the baby was born after June 1, 2026.

The YWCA’s Caring for Victims of Abuse program provides several services to residents of Kalamazoo County who are (or have) experienced domestic violence. These services include emergency shelter, legal services, advocacy, and more.
