Mark your calendars! Rx Kids is excited to announce that Detroit’s Baby Parade will be held in conjunction with Mayor Sheffield’s Inaugural Walk & Run for Wellness on Saturday, September 26, from 11:00 am-2:00 p.m., at Lasky Recreation Center (13200 Fenelon St, Detroit, MI 48212).
Baby parades are vibrant celebrations that remind us that our children are our future and that communities are strongest when families are supported. The event will also feature health and wellness activities, fitness demonstrations, health resources and screenings, food vendors, music, community partners, family-friendly activities, giveaways, and more.
At 11:30 am, Meet Mayor Mary Sheffield and Dr. Mona Hanna at the Rx Kids sign and join us for a short, stroller-friendly parade to celebrate moms and babies.
