We invite you to join us for a Michigan Rx Kids Expansion: Webinars for Interested Communities
Rx Kids—launched in Flint in 2024—is the nation’s first community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program, providing families with $1,500 during pregnancy and $500 per month during the first six or twelve months of a baby’s life. Since its launch, Rx Kids has expanded to deliver nearly $20 million in cash to more than 4,300 families across more than a dozen Michigan communities, improving birth outcomes and healthcare utilization, maternal health, reducing financial stress, and strengthening local economies.
Now, with historic investment from the State of Michigan and growing local momentum, Rx Kids is poised to expand to dozens of high-need Michigan communities—reaching thousands of babies over the next three years.
This informational webinar will walk through:
- Rx Kids overview and highlights of impact to date
- Details of the plan for Rx Kids expansion to additional locations across Michigan
- The next steps communities can take to apply to become an Rx Kids community.
